The Rise of this Phoenix
Still I Rise....
I soar....
Out of the dirt and filth
Like the Phoenix, I shed
I shed the old skin
I shed the memories
I shed the pain and shame
I let them burst into flames
And I let the new wings take me
I am not fazed by the little feathers
I challenge the wind
I keep pushing through
Till the wings cuts through
And I rise..... Oh how I have risen
It is like a drug
I can't get enough
It's so intoxicating
The Power, the freedom
Maybe because I'm so high up
Maybe because the oxygen is less
I do not learn from Icarus
No! I cannot be stopped
I keep rising. I keep soaring
Until I kiss the Sun....
